In my first iteration of the AI for Social Media workshop, hosted at The Ampersand in Miami, I introduced participants to the possibilities of AI in transforming their approach to social media. To make the session engaging and relatable, I crafted a “Day in the Life” scenario centered on Sarah, a social media strategist at a fictional event planning company, Glamorama Wunderbar Dreamland. Sarah’s task was to strategize and execute the content plan for an exciting new campaign: Dreamland Full Moon Skate & Mate. Through this hands-on workshop, I demonstrated how Sarah (and the attendees) could integrate AI tools into their workflow to plan, create, and optimize content in record time. From understanding audience personas to generating tailored captions, designing visuals, and building a complete content strategy, we explored best practices for making campaigns fun, authentic, and impactful.

Inspired by my decade-long experience as a producer working with agencies and my commitment to leveraging AI for Good, this workshop at The Ampersand focused on tackling some of Miami’s most pressing issues: voter education and engagement, the opioid crisis affecting youth, and rising sea levels. The session brought together a dynamic mix of around 30 participants, including ambassadors from the City of Miami—Dr. Galen Treuer, Krystina Francois, and Amanda Nichols—each deeply embedded in these topics through their impactful work. Guided by the principles of the design thinking process, we divided into three teams, each tasked with exploring how AI could provide innovative solutions to their assigned issue within just two hours. Using Sinego AI, a tool inspired by the ethos of this very event, participants brainstormed, ideated, and refined their strategies in real time. What emerged were three fully vetted approaches—proof that, with collaboration and the right technology, complex challenges can spark actionable solutions. The experience demonstrated not only the potential of AI but the power of diverse, community-driven minds working toward a common good. This event was a true reflection of how technology, creativity, and a clear purpose can create impact—Miami-style.

This workshop was born from the curiosity of creatives eager to understand the process of creating imagery and videos with AI. Held at Soho Beach House, the session explored the exciting possibilities of MidJourney—a tool that transforms text prompts into captivating visuals. I kicked off with a landscape update on trends in AI-driven artistry and how anyone can use tools like MidJourney to not only create images but also tell compelling stories. We delved into the whimsical case study of Papy the Capybara, a carefree South Beach resident navigating life with a chilled-out vibe. Through Papy's story, attendees learned how to prompt effectively, create variations, and maintain visual consistency to bring ideas to life. The workshop ended on a high note with a collaborative game I call "Prompt, Prompt, Pass." The audience collectively filled in blanks ad-lib style, generating imaginative visuals for a joint art piece.

This one was pure chaos—but in the best way possible. AI for Music turned Soho Beach House into a live experiment with some of the most creative minds I know. We teamed up with the brilliant music duo Paperwater, Brittany Berge of Mindful Music Labs, and the ever-talented Bacheler Jean-Pierre to tackle the entire music process from start to finish—all powered by AI. In just one night, we went from brainstorming lyrics to producing beats, recording vocals, mixing tracks, and even creating a music video for our anthem of the night, “Art Basel Bae Bae.” Spoiler alert: it’s still a work in progress, but it’s already legendary. This wasn’t about making it perfect—it was about seeing what’s possible when you blend human creativity with AI tools. We laughed, we improvised, and we walked away with a whole new perspective on how AI can shake things up in the music world.

Hosted at the iconic Miami institution The Bass, this event was a reflective “dessert” to the whirlwind of Art Basel, inviting artists and enthusiasts to slow down and explore how emerging technology—specifically AI—is reshaping the art world. The panel featured an inspiring lineup of contemporary creators: Tierra Armstrong, Ashley Cesario, Cornelius Tulloch, and Haiiileen, each bringing unique perspectives on the intersection of AI and creative expression. Our discussion dove into how artists are integrating AI tools into their practices, how these technologies are challenging traditional artistic boundaries, and what this evolution means for the future of art. The evening also included a short demo of accessible AI tools, equipping the audience with new methods to experiment within their own creative realms. Midway through, I led an interactive experiment designed to bring the conversation full circle: Could AI art reflect a piece of the person behind it? Audience members shared personal inputs, which were live-prompted to create AI-generated versions of three iconic masterpieces: Guernica by Pablo Picasso, A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte by Georges Seurat, and Nighthawks by Edward Hopper. This playful twist challenged attendees to see themselves reflected in reimagined versions of these classics, blurring the line between human and machine.
